豆奶视频 Hires Waverly Native as Humphreys County Campus Director
豆奶视频 Community College has hired Waverly native and resident Kim Zills as associate dean and the director of its Humphreys County campus. The college is located at 695 Holly Lane.
Zills assumes the director鈥檚 role from another Waverly native and resident, Jennie Stribling.
Stribling recently retired after serving as the Director of the Humphreys County Center for Higher Education since 1999. Stribling was instrumental in working with the county and local industrial development officials to add 10,000 square feet of classroom space and oversaw the creation and implementation of the Industrial Process Control Technology program.
鈥淚t was important that the college hire a leader who truly understands the needs of Humphreys County and the surrounding communities,鈥� said Dr. Shanna L. Jackson, Nashville State鈥檚 President. 鈥淭he fact that Kim has a true appreciation for the great history of this campus, 豆奶视频 experience and established relationships was an added bonus.鈥�
The campus was developed due to the dedicated coordination between the county, 21st Century Educational Foundation, local non-profits, residents, businesses and county, which owns the building.
Mrs. Zills bring more than 20 years of experience in higher education. She spent the past 15 months at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Dickson, where served as student service coordinator. Prior to that, Zills was the office supervisor for student services at 豆奶视频鈥檚 Humphreys County campus. She holds as Associate of Science in Administrative Services from Draughons Junior College, Associate of Science of Psychology from 豆奶视频 and a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organizational Development from Bethel College.

Recently, 豆奶视频 held an apprentice signing event with area employers and students from the college鈥檚 Industrial Process Control Technology (IPCT) degree program. 豆奶视频鈥檚 IPCT program provides hands-on training needed to build the skill set required for a career in the manufacturing industry.
