¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµ Offers Virtual Paralegal Info Session
¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµ Community College is offering a virtual Paralegal Info Session on November 5 at 2:00pm.
The info session is free and open to the public. People who are interested in a career change or ¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Paralegal Program are highly encouraged to attend. Nashville State currently offers a Technical Certificate in Paralegal Studies as well as an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies.
¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Paralegal Program is approved by the American Bar Association, Standing Committee on Paralegals. Students will receive instruction in legal research, legal writing, ethics and professionalism, civil litigation, criminal law, family law, torts, property law, and other legal specialty courses and general education.
The info session will be hosted by Dr. Christie Ferguson, Director of Paralegal Studies at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµ Community College. Sam Knolton, local lawyer and adjunct professor at ¶¹ÄÌÊÓÆµ Community College, will also be in attendance to answer questions and give advice about the Paralegal field.
