Good evening, and Happy October! October is always one of the busiest months of the year for the disability community as we acknowledge Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) Awareness Month, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Awareness Month, Disability History and Awareness Month, Dyslexia Awareness Month, and National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

During the month, we will share a variety of resources and events happening online and in our community. Please see our Events and Resources section each week for additional information and resource links. Of special note is our upcoming AAC Super Supper Club! Details coming soon.


Annual Online Verification Process (AOVP)
is the opportunity for families to review and update student, parent and emergency contact information. It also contains important policies and information. All families must complete this process by Oct. 31, 2022 via their??account. Support is available in a variety of ways:

    A six-module series presenting information around a deeper understanding of?dyslexia?is now available through the?Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) at William & Mary’s?website.?The series was created by a team of?TTAC?specialists from across the commonwealth, parents of children with dyslexia, and experts in the field of?dyslexia.?This online learning experience provides information around topics related to?dyslexia:
