Superintendent’s April 24, 2024 Update

Dear APS Families,

Tomorrow is APS Bus Driver Appreciation Day, so please join me in thanking our drivers for all they do to ensure the safety of our students as they travel to and from school.

This is the time of year when our staff and students are preparing for end-of-year assessments in May and working incredibly hard to finish the school year strong. Here are some additional updates:

  • Accessing Student Report Cards: Report cards documenting your student¡¯s academic progress and achievements will be available in ParentVUE this week. Middle & High were posted on April 22; Elementary will be posted on April 26. Should you have any questions or need assistance accessing the report card, please reach out to your child¡¯s school. View guidance on accessing report cards in ParentVUE.
  • Celebrating Earth Week: As we celebrate Earth Week, APS Sustainability Liaisons working across the division highlighted a sample of sustainability projects and practices inside our schools. These activities include recycling, waste reduction, energy conservation, gardening, outdoor learning, and transportation.?

We have a busy and exciting month ahead as we prepare for the end of the school year ¨C thank you for your partnership in your student¡¯s education!

Sincerely,
Dr. Francisco Dur¨¢n
Superintendent
